This photo has many good qualities. It has movement, it's well cropped and the back ground is interesting but not too much to distract the viewer from the main subject.
The only thing that bothers me in this is her eyes. Have you done something to them? They don't show any soul, they're like two empty grey-ish holes. I don't mean they should be photoshopped to look different, I just don't understand why they look like that. It's not necessarily a bad thing, not even a failure. One could think the eyes are "the thing" in this photo. In that case I'd crop some more and add some value and focus to the eyes, that's just me.
Can you tell me what was the message you were trying to send to the audience? I'm not saying you lack one, I'd just want to know what you meant it to be precisely...
Well, she certainly looks like you! A lovel, photo which so beautifully captures the freedom and naturalness of a child, from the wind-kissed hair to the dirt under the nails. And what is she really seeing through those eyes of hers? Does make one wonder--I'll bet she has a wonderful imagination! Beautifully done, Dani!
Umm..permission to draw your daughter? This photo is pretty(as well as your daughter 8D) and I want to draw it. I won't add anything to it(other than limits to my copying ability). And of course, I'll credit+link to this picture
